In my studio there is a cutting tension between imperfection and perfection. The search for perfection is much more than a challenge. My urge to create is determined by a passion which, over and over again, causes me to clash with the "pink glasses" reality, that regularly leads our consumer's society astray. An object is only perfect when looked at from one particular angle. Change the perspective and you are bound to find something less perfect. With people it is just the same. This notion dictates my life and my art every day...
